Esmir Bajraktarevic will not travel to Paris this summer.
The New England Revolution winger was not named to the U.S. men’s soccer team’s squad for the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Bajraktarevic’s exclusion from the squad came against the backdrop of rumors that he wanted to leave the US soccer club and move his international soccer league to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In an exclusive interview with The blazing musket, Bajraktarevic announced where he currently stands regarding his international future.
“Yes, I mean, of course I am very proud to be Bosnian,” said Bajraktarevic : TBM. Playing for the national team is definitely something I’ve dreamed of since I was a kid. I mean, I’m not ready to announce anything or say much at the moment, but yeah, I’m just proud to be a Bosnian, that would be great.”
