Henry Cavill has been in a relationship with his girlfriend Natalie Viscuso, a Hollywood executive, since 2021. The couple was first seen together in public on the red carpet of Enola Holmes 2 in 2022 (via Elle). Recently man of Steel The star confirmed that they are expecting their first child soon. However, the actor has not yet proposed to Viscuso to be his only child in life.
It seems that the actor is taking things related to his relationship very cautiously and slowly. A source told Closer that while the couple has actively discussed marriage plans, Cavill is also very attached to his current “hobby-filled lifestyle.” He is reportedly still very comfortable with his bachelor life and their relationship has mostly been long-distance.
The report goes on to say that Viscuso has been incredibly patient with Cavill, waiting for him to make the right move to make their marriage official. However, Cavill’s slow and careful approach to maintaining their relationship reportedly left her a little uneasy and nervous. The report states:
Much of this relationship has been long distance because Henry values his bachelorhood too much. But he also has a whole extended family in England that he is still very close to and still relies on. She is not an insecure person, but Henry’s super slow and single-minded way of doing everything in their relationship has made her a little nervous, to say the least.
When Cavill announced the news that they are expecting a baby together, he was very excited and overflowing with happiness (on Access Hollywood). The couple’s bond seems to be getting stronger with time. However, if this report is indeed true, Cavill must be looking to make things official soon and not keep his girlfriend waiting.
Chad Stahelski informs fans when filming will begin on Henry Cavill’s movie Highlanders Restart
After the release of the incredible four films in John Wick Franchise, Chad Stahelski is now breaking new ground with the upcoming reboot of Highlanders starring Henry Cavill. In an interview with Collider, the director explained that production on the film will begin in Scotland in January 2025 and that a final location scout will be conducted soon.
The director also hinted at the intense sword fights that would make up a large part of the film. He is aware that sword fights can become boring if not made interesting, and he is thinking about how to incorporate it into the film’s plot. Stahelski said:
We start shooting in Scotland in January, so I’ll leave as soon as I leave. On Monday I’ll head to Scotland to scout the last of the locations. Sometimes a three-minute sword fight can be a bit boring. So I’m more concerned with, “Am I going to bore you with a sword fight movie?” And how do I incorporate guns, martial arts, chases, and what’s the story part of it? I have to get all of that right as well.
The original from 1984 Highlanders is considered a cult classic and it remains to be seen whether Stahelski will be able to preserve the essence of the original while updating it for modern audiences. Highlanders will be released sometime in 2026.
