According to reports from Marks and McMenamin, James will earn just over $14,000 per game in the 2024–25 season.

James finished his freshman year with the Trojans averaging 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game while shooting 36.6% from the field and 26.7% from three-point range in 25 games.
