How much money will Bronny James earn per game for the Los Angeles Lakers?

Bronny James was selected 55th overall in the 2024 NBA Draft after playing one season of college basketball for USC.

On Tuesday, James was introduced to the media for the first time as a member of the Lakers.

On Wednesday, Dave McMenamin of ESPN reported on the terms of his contract.

About McMenamin: “Bronny James has agreed to a four-year, $7.9 million contract with the Lakers, a league source told ESPN. Team option for fourth year.”

Bobby Marks of ESPN also reported further details.

About Marks: “The Bronny James contract is the standard exception for a second-round pick.

The second-round pick exception will not count toward the cap until July 31.”

According to reports from Marks and McMenamin, James will earn just over $14,000 per game in the 2024–25 season.

The Lakers are coming off a season in which they lost to the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
