Diaz retired from the UFC after his contract expired and is now a free agent, as is Jorge Masvidal.

Nate Diaz would fight anyone
The last time Nate Diaz entered the boxing ring, he showed tremendous boxing instincts, but was ultimately defeated by Jake Paul by unanimous decision.
Paul promised he would face Diaz in an MMA fight, but it seems the Stockton native has other plans before facing him again.
Before their showdown Diaz claimed that he would accept a settlement with anyone for money.
“After Ultimate Fighter, I had five fights in the UFC against opponents who were ranked in the top 10. Then I challenged the top 10 and fought 25 to 30 fights in the UFC against them. Whatever I do now, I look for the best fighter to fight. I can fight anyone for $10 million and I’ll probably get $10 million,” said Nate Diaz in an interview with MMAFightingWithSBN.
He added: “I want to fight against the best of the best or the biggest. Everyone thinks Jake Paul does, so why won’t I fight him? You know what I mean. So I’ll take the best.”
Masvidal and his delayed return
Jorge Masivdal has been away from the Octagon and the fighting world for quite some time and now wants to get back into the action.
His struggle with Diaz has been rumored for some time, but there has been a delay in official confirmation. Massifdal explained that this was due to difficulties in negotiations with Diaz.
How much will the fighters earn?
Once negotiations are completed and the date and venue of the fight are agreed upon, a report from Sportskeeda assures that both fighters will receive $500,000.
The advantage is that the fight is promoted by the agencies of both fighters, so their earnings can increase significantly.
